Samsung Galaxy Note ll tethering

Hello,
I have just upgraded to a Samsung Galaxy Note ll and just cant get it to tether to my Motorola Xoom tablet or my Acer Aspire laptop.
I do hope that someone can point me in the right direction.:frown:

Download Foxfi from the play store. I have the Note 2 and it works fine. The trial would let you know its working then you would have to buy it. It's like $7
