Can't go into sleep mode

So my phone keeps auto starting the main music app and power amp which prevents me from being able to go into sleep mode. If I try ending them, they start again right away and its pissing me off. How is this fixed

You clearly need more details, I have power amp and the only time it "Auto starts" is when I plug in my earpiece, and it still can go to sleep, you probably messed with the settings

Its not only power amp but the stock music player which I never use as well

Try a complete power down with a battery pull. You might also look at settings - Applications - Manage applications to see if you can clear the data and cache on these applications.

If that doesn't work, try a factory reset.
