Hello
I have been scouring the internet for an answer to this issue with no success. Whenever I reboot my phone all default settings are lost. This includes launchers, apps, and even phone settings. I currently run Aviate as a launcher and have to choose it every time I reboot. It's the same with every default app on the phone. I noticed last night my sound even came back on by itself while i slept. My phone is a Note 3 on AT&T rooted. Anyone else having this issue or know a fix? I'd hate to lose all my data by a factory reset but I'm afraid that may be my only option at this point. Any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks
Dennis

Do you have any mods installed or run a custom rom?

I'm running Alliance Rom. Not sure what you mean by mods. I'm new to the android thing. Converted ex iphone user. LOL

This is a fairly recent issue. When I first started running Alliance it didnt do that.

By mods I mean Xposed modules & stuff like that.

I agree with cr6, just reflash the rom without wiping anything

The only mods I see installed are MW Manager, RootCloak, and Xinstaller.

I just tried that and still the same thing. It reboots and immediately ask to choose a launcher even though I chose one and piked always before. It does that with everything. Is there a setting somewhere that may be checked wrong that I may have missed?

Then I'd try going into the Xposed installer/Modules, uncheck all of them & then reboot. Xposed doesn't play nice with any roms that are not very close to AOSP. If you issues persist, then we'll try something else

Went in and stopped all modules and still the same thing. Any other ideas?

Safestrap recovery.

And... I have no experience using safestrap. Or a Note 3. The advice I gave is just basic problem solving with roms. I'm gonna try to ping @bkdodger. I think he has some experience with the Note line of phones. He's usually around in the mornings. But I'll keep following along to see if I can help. Hopefully someone from Tech support will chime in

Sounds good. Thanks for your help.

It sounds like your cache is being wiped at boot. Check to see also If you used the uninstall xposed zip that should be on your sd card and flash it. Let us know if that fixes it. Its been a while but I had same model.
