SMS delivery report option missing

Hello, I have a Samsung phone (I think it's the J3), but noticed that there's no option to turn on delivery reports under SMS settings. Can someone help me with this?

Navigate to the SMS settings to enable deliver report. Withought the reports you can't send any SMS in future

I don't believe that's a true statement. You can continue to send and receive text messages without Delivery Reports being enabled; those are just an optional feature not mandatory to have turned on.

Go to the message settings and enable sms delivery report option.

Open you message inbox > Go to message settings> choose text messages>Tick the delivery reports
