1.1.28 Release

You make a good point, I'm having a hard time deciding what to upgrade from my droid to, and MIUI is definitely a priority. I want something that will be supported in future releases, heh.. I really want a Nexus S, but no word on it coming to VZ yet.

I'm thinking of getting a thunderbolt, but I will miss getting free tethering, maybe I will hang on to my Droid just for that! I wonder if I will care about the missing dual core...

Why would you not have free tethering on the thunderbolt?

Sorry, what for? You didn't get any of us sick....or did you.
When the latest JZ album drops it drops, until then I think we can all keep from our panties gettin bunched.
Quick question since MIUI is from China, should we be worried about lead content?

Dual core will be great down the line when software apps are written to utilize it but right now it's like buying a high speed sports car to do 55 on the freeway. JMO

While that's true of PC's, with mobile devices it's a little different. ALthough this has yet to be proven out, the theory is that with 2 cores they can both run with substantially less power and still accomplish the same amount of work as a single core running its a$$ off. The win there is a better battery life.

But, the proof is in the pudding, so we'll see.

So they are releasing 3new android phones, I've read a bit on bionic and thunderbolt.
But pudding is one I wasnt aware of, I assume its dual core.
Cant wait til pudding pops

First time poster!!!! But have been enjoying this rom for a while.

Thank you for your hard work on this great rom (probably the best out there).

This may be the wrong place to post this, but just wondering if it's possible to find a way to arrange icons alphabetically.

I'm confident the Thunderbolt won't be locked down like all the newest Motorola phones....I'm grabbing one as soon as it comes out!! But if you go on the Miui-devs site, they have Miui for the EVO and Desire HD...the Thunderbolt really isn't much different than either of those phones, especially the Desire HD. I think Miui may be eventually ported to the Thunderbolt. It would definitely be awesome on it!!

I saw these posts on the XDA Thunderbolt forum; looks hopeful:

I'm still hoping he gets a DX so he can port to that. If he does, I'll probably get rid of my D1 and get a DX to replace it. I'm due for a new phone, and I can get one for $50 or less. With Miui on it, I can forego 4G for awhile. Otherwise, I'm getting a Bionic when it comes out!

We must think alike. I purchased an X on Ebay last night, I sure hope that works out for me. This way I'll not mess with my present contract and I'll still have my last ever NE2 upgrade next July.

I'm not looking forward to paying more for 4g either!! I find that everything I do, including using my Slingbox, works quite well when I have a good 3g signal.

The Bionic looks good to me also but if it has the locked bootloader I'll look at something else instead.

Not gonna happen. As much as id like to see it on my Droid X the locked bootloader restricts us from certain things. In this case porting MIUI. Don't worry were both sad about this one. I miss the days of flashing a new rom on my Droid 1 at least once a week.
