I am currently not running miui because I can't stand the icons. Reminds me to much of the iphone. It would be amazing if it had stock icons. If there were stock icons,i would totally be running it. Other than that, I really enjoyed it and highly recommend it.

They have made the icons more square for this release. See video. They still have a radius on the corners though.

They look better, but still a bit odd. I guess that's part of what makes miui unique.

People who are saying it looks too iPhone-ish - what is wrong with how the iPhone looks? It's actually the most appealing part of that phone.

lol that is true...pretty much the only thing i say when i see an i(insert product here) is "wow that looks pretty" Say what you want about the rest of the package, their products are aesthetically pleasing.

I'm not saying it looks bad, more along the lines of "if I wanted an iPhone, I would have gotten one, not an android". I just want it to have a more distinct look to it.

Yeah, I got what you're saying. It definately has a mixture of the looks of the 2 OS. Imho I like the blend of the 2 styles...it's like Andy went and got a buff and shine job and put on some nice jewelry
