[11/25/10][Release] D1-MIUI 0.11.19-v1.3

i switched back to MIUI after using MetickOne's build and trying out 11.19. I had to switch back because I love the interface, and couldn't resist.

However, one of the main reasons why I left was because of the lag that it gives sometimes. Everything works fine, except the lag when the screen comes on to answer calls. I'm thinking it could be because of the 250Mhz setting when the screen is off, but I'll have to try that later. Any other suggestions.

on 1.2 I still had the issue of the phone simply refusing to respond. It was working flawless for a few hours and then it just stopped functioning. Battery pulls didn't do anything it would just freeze up after loading the launcher. When I checked internal storage space it was at 67mb free IIRC. Back to .7 again

If we are not having problems with 1.2 is it necessary to flash 1.3?

Folder Issues

Ok so I updated from 1.1 to 1.3 and almost all is perfect. One issue however has me stumped. I had made a folder that I organized alphabetical order. Then put it in the tray. It worked fine on 1.1. However, after upgrading every time I try to open the folder, it force closes. All my other folders are working fine including ones with the same settings. I was going to simply delete the folder but I cannot. I also tried to delete it but it wont let me because it says it is not empty. Any thoughts on how to either delete the folder or edit its properties?
Really don't want to start from scratch.

One other thing. I downgraded back to 1.1 figuring I could fix it there but it now does the same thing in 1.1

I am at a loss.

So I just flashed v1.2 and there's this weird chinese app under system called AppShare or something like that. What's that about? Also I love the lockscreen music controls, and when u plug your phone into your pc and get it to connect via usb automatically.

Good work, just have one minor issue to report. When sliding down the notification bar, theres a little extra background handing down from the notification slider handle. Running v1.2

Not sure what your issue is but i cannot reproduce it. Im on v1.2 and tried what you said and it works fine for me. Maybe try flashing it again.

Take everything out of the folder. By holding the app and closing the folder put the app some where else and delete the folder after it is empty

Very easy. Delete the current one, its under /system/media/bootanimation

Then find the one you want and drop it in /data/local or back into /system/media and reboot. Just make sure its named bootanimation

Fixed it. Thankfully I could see some of the apps in the folder. So, I started uninstalling them one by one. Well when I uninstalled Dolphin Browser lo and behold the folder worked normally again so something about dolphin HD browser that the folder didn't like. All is well once again. Very weird.
