I'm curious if this is worth sbfing back to 2.1 to install. From what I've heard, it's supposed to be worlds better than the leak, but I think I'll wait and see some people's impressions of it first.

P3Droid on MDW had this offical version leak for rooted phones yesterday. It is the same build number. You can just flash that on your phone. I did and it is great.

I am so happy that the rest of my Droid X breadren are now finally rocking 2.2. Next stop Gingerbread 3.0.

I believe this problem can be solved using the Droid 2's root method, unless the OTA blocked that out too.

Maybe someone do it .. Then ill SBF flash then do it but till then FLYX for now.

Right, but I heard somewhere(the location escapes me) that the OTA had an updated kernel that we couldn't currently flash because of our silly locked bootloader. I'm just wondering if there's any major gains from this new kernel or if it exists at all.

I was rooted but this clockwork recovery blocks update.
How can I just remove this?
I tried factory reset but it is still there

Finally got this to start downloading at a decent speed. It insisted on using my 3G instead of Wifi. I had to disable my radio via the *#*#4636#*#* menu to get it to use Wifi.

But, I am not noticing my speakers being significantly louder. It does seem a little better, but not night & day as I hoped.
