12:01 EST 2.2 downloading

So I am also in Eastern Pennsylvania and when I go to setting>about phone>system updates and click it all it does is say checking for available update...it has been saying that now for like 5 minutes any ideas???

wife's phone, no modifications installed without issue.

My phone, rooted, bloatware relocated and then put back, running a couple root apps, 1 app pushed as system, and using ADW with theme... install fails. Flashing SBF now, will update.

Froyo and U... How has the update helped u in your day 2 day use of ur Droid X?

I have found Flash useful for my news sites. Always missed viewing the video footage

Other than that I haven't come across other useful features" YET" but I am sure I'll come across some. Will find more reading this thread I am sure.

I've noticed a few problems with Froyo so far. One is that the Motorola widget "Contact Quick Tasks" is kinda broken. If you scale it vertically the picture gets cropped around the sides.

Also Swype looks different, is this the new look or a setting?

After Froyo update I have an up time of 1:43 minutes and see no change in battery consumption.

This is so far great news.

The Swype look is different, apparently that's how it's supposed to look, for better or worse.
