It should be compatible with the Maxx. Droid 4,Razr,and Razr Maxx show compatibility with the lapdock 500 on motorola's website.

It's funny if you go to Lapdock 500 compatability it shows the Maxx (and Bionic) as not compatible. But if you go to the accessories page for the Maxx it is under recommended accessories.

Yeah seems the left hand does not know what the right is doing. I am sure it work with it, and if it does not that is why man invented Dremels' and duct tape.

Yep the $150 lapdock isn't compatible with anything. Thus the $150 price.However if you purchase the $349 from Motorola it is compatible with your phone. LOL!!!

As of yesterday Verizon is completely out of stock for the LapDock 500! Mine will be here tomorrow FedEx! If it works as represented I should be able to replace my Asus Transformer as my travel companion. If it doesn't work it will be off to eBay to sell it.

I wish I could use it. I already have the Lapdock 100 that I don't use. I have an Acer Iconia A500 Tablet as well as an iPad 2 that I just tether my Bionic to...I tempted to sell the lapdock 100 (I paid $199 for it about 3 months ago.

Recieved backorder email...I called vzw and spoke to an online rep and he said he expected(but couldnt guarentee) they would probly get some in and orders would be filled in the next day....said that items like these dont stay out of stock long and doesnt expect it to.....

I have one I don't use...guess I will put it on Craigslist ...works great though ...no selling things on here though...just wouldn't sit in my lap comfortably like I wanted ...hard to use switching from touch screen on phone...good luck getting one to everyone looking!
