Yes, but you have to go back to 2.1 first, root, then upgrade. Game? Follow the following.

Big problem I'm having is apps not initiating (or something like that). For example the YouTube app just flickers the screen and then doesn't load. the app is in the app switcher (lp home). Anyone found a workaround?
New System update
Since downloading the new system update for the droid incredible, my phone has been acting up and some features are no longer there. For i.e., once I have set an appointment in my google calendar on my phone, I cannot go back and edit it. The edit option is gone. Anyone else having complications since the system update came out? tbp

Yes,I am having the same problem,very slow too.I was wondering if I can get back to the other version.
The battery problem that I posted on appears to have resolved itself. I let the phone drain down and then did a full recharge. I was out all day yesterday and did not plug the phone in for an overnight charge. This morning it was still at over 75% charged. I have not observed any issues with the new apps Verizon has added. I don't use any of them and they are not running in the background or spontaneously popping open. I do like that both messaging and e-mail now open in the landscape mode which makes typing and reading much easier. Internet is much faster and I tested this by loading my photography website and scrolling through images. At this point I am satisfied with the upgrade and see it as an improvement.

Interesting... I still have my edit option in my Google calendar app.
The only thing I've noticed so far are two things...
1. I no longer have the ability to create a custom name when adding or editing my contacts... that option is simply gone...... really peeves me!
I have contacts such as "certain hospitals" that have number phone numbers and locations... simple "office, home, mobile, others don't cut it!"
2. My handcent is now laggy, with occasional crashes and won't delete any threads without crashing..... went to chompsms to fix that!.... it works perfect!
for those having the web page open when linking, here is the fix thanks to KnightDavid @ incredibleforum.com. SUper easy and works like a charm

Hello all,
First post, i have searched all over for this problem and cant seem to find anyone who has the same issue, if it has already been stated somewhere it would be great if someone could share the link and im sorry for posting it twice. I got the update last friday for my incredible and everything has seem to be working fine. But i am a heavy texter and my keyboard has this problem at least 5 times a day. I go to text or search for something on the internet and the keyboard comes up, but i try to type and it shows what buttons i am pressing but nothing comes up in the text box. It gets pretty annoying. I wait around a few minutes and then out of no where it works! Never did that before the update. Is there anything i can do?

What text manager are you using?
I had tons of trouble with Handcent after 2.2 and have since gone to Chompsms to my delight.
If your using stock... try the battery pull..... many folks are having to do factory resets to get things working smooth.
