2.3 Update

Dear Ryan ******,

I understand that you would like to know when the Gingerbread update will be available for the Droid Incredible. Initially the update was scheduled for the second quarter but has been pushed back to sometime this summer. Unfortunately, we do not have an exact date yet. Once we have more concrete information it will be posted to our website or official social network outlets HTC Facebook and HTC Twitter.

see I told you guys it should be updated sometime during the summer. Now lets hope they stick to that promise. Uh anyways I think its time to start a new count down. How many days are left in summer? :)
 
2.3 is full of bugs

Ever since I upgraded to 2.3, my phone has been more sluggish, apps crash more, and I have to reboot every day or two because it gets into a mode such that when I try to make a call, it hangs up instantly. It does this over and over, until I reboot.

I'm using a Droid X. I have not rooted it, nor does it have any viruses. It's just a lousy operating system. I'm sorry, but it is. It's like Windows 95 was.

Was Motorola always crappy and slow ? Compared to sense

I guess we'll just have to wait and see if it works well on the incredible. That could be what is taking them so long to release it.

No. Each successive Android upgrade has slowed things down.

Gotta root and install Apex. Best decision I ever made...

Just to help you guys all out, I rooted my phone yesterday so it should be here Monday. At least that's how my luck is :)
