3G network disappears

That screen looks like taken off a Samsung phone, not a Droid 2 Global. Droid 2 Global has only "USA Band" listed there. And here is the bad news: if you ever selected "USA Band" in that menu, your phone will not be able to connect to 2100MHz bands (anywhere outside North America) and the only way to fix this is to flash 2.4.29 SBF and wipe it all clean.

Never, ever select "USA band" on that place!

The two screen-shots I have posted earlier are not from

PHONE INFO screen, press the menu button on your phone, and then select the top left option which is SELECT RADIO BAND.

The latter is the place with the "USA Band" and the sure way to disable Euro bands.
