Hey I noticed something last night, I was downloading from the app store and when the data cut off due to lack of signal the phone kept downloading, there was no way to cancel the download. I even tried to reboot the phone to cancel it but no dice.
I'm not sure if this was part of the design.

still on black screen with "Google" after 5 minutes

is there a published md5 for me to check the integrity of my download?
