6-14 [ROM] Froyo Kangerade V1.0 *Blazing fast, 7 Theme options, many extras*

I'm new to all this root/rom/tinkering stuff but I'm pretty sure I got it figgered out now.

Got SPRecovery installed and have root access now. Just got Titanium backup, its running, and when done I'm going to try to install this rom.

Wish me luck!

PS: want to buy an orange theme!

Hey

Hey Im having problems installing. I tried the barcode and rom manager. I set everything up VIA rommanager and immediately when I finishing picking fonts etc. It says Error DL ROM. I tried Fixing permissions and flashing back to SPRecovery then back to Clock work. It basically wont even DL it. Im running BB V.01 Froyo with 1.2 Kernel and the New Baseband. Everything is working fine but I really want to try out this new theme and I hear its crazy fast...better than my BB. Anyone have any Ideas or tips? I dont want to wipe my phone before hand cause Im already running a 2.2 plus I dont feel like setting everything up. Plus I dont think thats the problem seeing as it wont even DL right now! Thanks for all your guys help!


UPDATE* Im an Idiot...read previous posts and saw people are having same problem. Will check back often to DL from ROM Manager. If I hear anything on here I will update immediately. Im gonna try uninstalling. I had the same problem with the SHIZ too...Really want to use his ROMS but having lots of problems

I've tried a couple different fonts and one was too big and cut off some letters on some thing, the other made some letters too hard to read. Is there any font examples instead of just "guess and check"????????

Error: Cant open xxxxx.zip (bad)

I have tried to install the cyan theme about 5 times now, using diff methods, and I get the same error each time. I'm not a newb, and have done this a few times now, soooo idk what the deal is. I downloaded the file from my phone straight to the SD card. I tried installing thru RM - nope. Clockwork - nope. update.zip method with SPR - nope. I tried uploading file to my dropbox, download to PC, upload back to dropbox, download back to phone - nope. lol... I'm going nuts over here. Anyone know what gives? I cant exactly download the file again right now given the servers crashed from all of us LOL. <-- that's just awesome. Help?!

**UPDATE** Ok I think it's my file. I tried opening the zip on my computer to poke around in it, and it said it seems to be missing data, and couldn't open it either - so I must have have a corrupted download Anyone wanna host a cyan zip for me :-D LOL

Well, I spoke too soon.

Sorry JRummy, it's not your fault, but my phone simply won't run 2.2 from any of the current builds.

Apparently it's at least a semi-known issue:

Same exact things are happening to me.


Oh well...I'll stay on the Shiz until an official 2.2 ROM comes out and then you cook off that one.

Just tried installing a 1000 p3 kernel and I had 60% showing on the battery before and then when it rebooted with the new kernel, the phone shut off with a message connect to charger. Strange. Pulled battery and still got the same message. Have I used the wrong kernel (Off the cyanogenmod section of the rom mgr). Is there another p3droid kernel for Froyo?

Yeah.....those are for 2.1.

Probably want to reflash a .32 kernel. You can find P3's kernels at mydroidworld.

Do I put then downloaded file on sd like a rom? will I do the same with Pete's radio uodate and then download "rom" off sd card in rom mger?
