I mean, I changed a few things here and there and added some things myself, however, I don't recall touching anything related to the music mod. I had a few people at my house playing around with it. I will ask them if they touched anything, if so, to please share.

In other news - I have tried several times to grab the CPU temperature. Is there any known issue with accessing that sensor?

I don't think any of the froyo kernels are able to read the CPU temperature at this point. But if you use the System Panel app, it displays the CPU and battery temp, and it's just a nice little app.

Hmm, I just purchased the full version. Extremely nice application.
I am however curious how they are grabbing the temperature.

Also, I am finding that sometimes when I am in an application or browsing the web, the "back, menu, home and search" buttons are a tad bit slow to respond. The vibration happens maybe a split second after I hit it rather than instantly. And the home button takes a second to load the home. Anyone else having this issue?

Also, is it possible to bring back the lockscreen option where you make the dots invisible? Makes it appear more secure to me.

this is epically amazing. But I'm still having trouble with the market not fully downloading (getting stuck on 100%)/ not installing. Anybody??

Let me know if u find a solution. I've been having the same problem downloading apps from the market like describe.

problem... quick fix from anyone?
everything was working great... then i randomly went into the rom manager to just check out the jrummy roms... and well i went into roms section and said could not connect. since then i have no service. no internet..no nothing. i restart phone...pull battery...do airplane mode... it all still says no service.
fix????

This Rom has been Awesome Thank you Jrummy for it! I follow up and watch Droid-Life all the time its a great site and he fully supports all your work!
I do have a question if anyone can help...
First is For some reason Handcent is FC'ing everytime i open it.. I even uninstalled and reinstalled with no luck.. So now im using Chomp and just dont like it as much... Is those known or is there a fix?
One other thing is i dont have very much music on my phone and i have even deleted the 300+ pics i had on my phone and im still only at 4gb of memory on my SD card.. I only have 2 backups as well.. IS there anything else that i can delete to make more space? (btw Deleting all my pics didnt even change my storage)

Im sorry if these are previously answered questions but please any help would be great!

Interesting. I just pulled down 4 app updates, one of them being ROM Manager. I opened each one to take a look at them, and the last one was ROM Manager. Since there wasn't a change log in the market, I wanted to look at the change log in the app, which opens a web page. After I closed it, the same thing happened to me-my signal was showing 2 bars, but no 3G and I had no connectivity. I left it alone for a few minutes and walked around with the phone to see if the signal indicator would change, but it didn't. I rebooted and everything was fine.

I just opened ROM Manager and went through the exact same steps and everything is working fine this time, so I'm not entirely sure what happened there. unless anybody else reports something similar, I'll chalk it up to a random "event" with eerie similarities.

I was encountering something similar for a while. This was the first time I had installed a new kernel and SetCPU, so I was playing around with getting that optimized based on some of the information from Skull One's excellent OCing thread.

I seem to recall it was a certain combination of Up Threshold and Sampling rate that caused this symptom.

After tweaking the settings a bit more, it's smooth as butter for me now.

can someone help with this small but annoying issue

i dont think this is a kangerade issue because it was happening with chaos and bb....but does anyone know why everytime i reboot my "maps fix" and for reason just "autokiller" and "terminal" are removed from my homescreen AND my app drawer BUT if i go to market...its still says installed and i can even open app from there...but like i said it disappears from homescreen and app drawer. so i have to uninstall and reinstall just so i can have it show up in drawer.

let me just say this first....when i first heard about it i thought it was stupid. Then i tried it lol i mean it isnt a mind blowing app or anything but cool. seriously.

what it is:

you can send any webpage or even google map straight to your phone. sounds stupid and something you can just do on your phone to begin with...but try it. i found the chrome to phone extention in a youtube video. just google "chrome to phone extention download" im sure youll find it. install it then try it!

Google Chrome to Phone and find the browser plugin for the Chrome browser. Once you register your phone and plugin to your Google account, it allows you to send webpages directly to your Droid from the PC browser. It seems like a very limited app but I've been using it quite a bit lately. When I'm surfing with my morning coffee before work and see something I want to read later (i.e. while I'm on the clock lol) I just click the Chrome to Phone button and the webpage is sent to the browser on my phone.
