I have the blue theme and it is awesome but i just loaded the helix launcher 2 and it force closes when i try to use it,,,am i doing something wrong?

Just read that helix will most likely not work on froyo.. didn't know that when I uploaded them because I never tested (should have) .. I'll probably have to take them down.

in terminal you can type:

su
rmhelix1

or

su
rmhelix2

(I think I included those scripts.. can't remember now)

i just installed the cyan rom and have to say that so far its amazing. I noticed somethings that may or may not be caused by the rom and was hoping someone can help out.

When pressing the volume keys to adjust the ringer volume, I can no longer select silent mode.

The battery percentage number inside the battery icon does not correspond to the actual battery life remaining. The Spare Parts app doesnt have an option to change the settings in the notification bar (color of text, display battery %, etc.)

My stock music app remains the same. In the changelog, it says the stock music player is modded but mine is defaulted.

Can anyone help please?

ok thank you for being one of the few that at least gets back to people,,,, one more thing do you have any idea when my phone is sitting there and i swipe it from sleep it freezes? I am just running the blue theme but it is not yours it is any froyo rom i load? I use and older clock work,,, i use SPR, i clear my clockworkmod folder, i always wipe data and cache? 2.1 roms work perfect but froyo always freezes?

Wifi connection is really bad, sometimes can't find the network when sitting next the router, any tips?

after several reboots i have tried and cannot get a good wifi... anyone else? I would hate to start from a scratch rom, sigh

idk man.. that's strange..

maybe try pulling your build.prop and editing the wifi scan time to be 15 instead of 90.. I honestly don't know what to tell you.. wish I could help more.

Did you install another kernel?

Never heard of this before.. very strange.. If I think of a solution I'll let you know.. maybe I'm just too tired to think right now.. lol. Sorry man.

So I took the plunge with this Jrummy rom from Stock Froyo. I have always run Jrummy's 2.1 roms. So far my phone is running very cool. While idle, my temps are at 89 degrees with Chevy's ULV 1.2ghz kernel. I have my phone fully charged ant it has been at 100% battery life for 1 1/2 hours with limited use. Only 2 calls and lite browser action. I will see how it holds up tomorrow.

My only 2 complaints are you shoulda left an option for the stock froyo launcher as i like it more and i think it runs smoother then the awd one. And im running the green theme and my wifi and signal bars are blue, kinda stands out ugly on the green theme.

ok i know im probably stupid but i just first rooted last week so give me a break ive searched but cant find an easy explantaion on how to run scripts.
I downloaded terminal emulater typed in the script it just says access denied several times than says it wsa installed but nothing happens.

Could some one point me to or post a explanation on how to run scripts.

First thing you do when term. em. opens, is type:
su
and hit enter.
If it's the first time, superuser will ask you to allow or deny. Allow, and make sure the checkbox is checked to remember your decision.

su will give you superuser access.
Now, you can run any of the scripts!

Completely different experience from mine with stock froyo launcher! It's great that it runs smoothly for someone--which is the first I've heard/read of it--but I found stock to be laggy and unresponsive, regardless of clockspeed. One more indication of how varied our devices are!

rmemail script not working

Not a big deal, but I thought I would let you know:

The rmemail script does not work. I looked at your script and it rm's Email.apk from /system/app. I checked and there is no Email.apk in the /system/app directory anymore. Hmmm. There is a EmailGoogle.apk but I think that might be the Gmail app.

Like I said, no big deal but I thought you might want to know. Thanks for all of your great work!

I used ROM Manager to do this install and when it is installing it wont do a complete install. I have the ROM just not complete rom. seems as though theme and kernal installed but not wallpaper or boot animation. When I did the scripts it said that file not found on sd card. Any thoughts?
