Issues

Issues:

1. This is an issues with all Froyo roms I have tried. Wi-fi connects works for a few minutes then stops working. I can turn it off and on then it works again. I have tried Chevy and P3's kernels.

2. I am using the green theme and when I look at my notifications I don't have the button to where i can clear them. It appears sometimes and sometimes it doesn't.

Besides that great rom.

Everything working great for me... Can someone walk me thru getting Flash to work though? Trying Hulu... I get "hulu requires Flash Player 10.0.22 or higher. Plz download and install the latest version of Flash Player before continuing".... If I click download and get "requested item could not be found".....

never had this happen.....

It loaded fine and I was going through the setup. I got to the point where it says its going to sync the info (last step). Then the setup wizard force closed. I have the notification bar and the sync icon, but no desktop, just a black screen. :icon_eek: Once the sync icon finishes can I just reboot? any other ideas? The home button only brings up the "no recent apps" message, but nothing else. The power button locks the phone, and I get the wallpaper I had before installing the ROM, but once I unlock, back to the black screen.

side thought - i told it remove all launchers but Launcher Pro --could that be it?

FIXED - although I don't really know how. I unplugged the power adapter, and let the screen go off, hit the power button to unlock it, and ta-da! Home screen. weird. LOL

Off to load apps back now ;-)

Besides that great rom.

1. Sounds like a problem with your phone, i havent had a single problem with running on wifi

2. I am also running the green theme and it has shown up for me when it supposed to be there. I mean you do know it only shows when you have a notification that can be cleared......right?

Great Froyo Rom

Hey Jrummy,

Just wanted to say thanks for all your hard work on this. I have tried all Froyo roms out there and I had random reboots with all of them except yours. Been very frustrating. Anyway, I am running the nextheme version of yours and was wondering if you could theme launcher pro for this version. I noticed that all the other ones were themed, but this one is not. The google search widget on launcher pro/nextheme is not themed as well as the option buttons. Thanks so much for all you contribute.

My rom installs a folder to your sdcard named adobeflashplayer. Download astro from the market, navigate to that folder, click on it and install.

I didn't get any of the wallpapers. Are they for ADW only (I see that now in the FAQ, D'OH)? (I only installed LauncherPro)

Is there some other way to get them?

I'm going to make a guess here that VPN Connections doesn't work in this ROM either ...

I've noticed some wierdness with this ROM:

1. I can't adb install anything -- I get the "/bin/sh/pm: not found" error, even though it's definitely there and the permissions are correct

2. While benchmarking with Quadrant, in the part of the 3D test where you walk through a corridor towards 2 pulsating columns, that whole section has no textures. The walls and the floor in other ROMs do, but not here.

I am interested in this as well... had some bad luck with heating issues using bugless beast's froyo and overclocked kernels..

Using Kangerade as stock is generating some great battery life and running very cool though, rummy you r0xers! :heart::motdroidhoriz:

That is a hit and miss thing some phones use certain kernels better then others. I'm using P3Droids 1000Mhz kernel for Froyo it is running extremely fast and heat is very low. (32.0 C) I havent tried any of Chevy's yet but other people are having great success with them as well.
