Jrummy first off thank you again for such a stable system. Secondly to all.. does anyone know the .apk to access the google search widget for themeing? I know there was another post about the ADW having the google search themed but the other launchers do not have it. In my case went with the stock Froyo launcher, but want to get back the themed google search??

GoogleQuickSearchBox.apk for default launcher. All others are part of the launcher.

Thats what I thought. Thank you. The issue then I have is I opened them up and went to the res folders and looked at the PNG but could not figure out what tied to the google search widget. In the ADW launcher it has more files that appear to be used for the search widget compared to opening launcher2 for the stock froyo files. Do you happen to know what files I would need to swap out from the launcher to the stock one?

Just FYI, if it helps others in the future.

Someone suggested to me to install the stock FROYO build from JRUMMY's area in Rom Manager first. (Since I couldn't seem to flash a 2.2 rom without it hosing up to save me.)

I did this and it was great! Automatically restored all apps, etc.

Then I flashed JRUMMY's build 1.0 on top of that without a wipe and it is working great.

It is the search floater.9png I think.

I think JRummy forgot to theme this on the blue ROM. I just downloaded the green one and pulled the APK out of it and push it to my system app using root explorer set permissions and reboot. Now I can update ADW and not worry about the search going back to the horrendous white!:icon_ banana:

I didn't get any of the wallpapers. Are they for ADW only (I see that now in the FAQ, D'OH)? (I only installed LauncherPro)

Nevermind. Reading the above post about the google search bar, I figured it out. Just downloaded the ROM and pulled the files out.

Does this ROM include the tun.ko for VPN or is that part of the kernel?

I'm going to make a guess here that VPN Connections doesn't work in this ROM either ...

I tried every kernal and the only one that seemed to work better was the P3 kernal.

Yes but there are issues. At least with VPN Connections.

I found this ROM to be super slow if you don't wipe cache and data. I installed it over my N8 & JRummy Remix Rom V0.8 and had some sluggish performance. Overclock widget was buggy, Launcher Pro was glitched, and many applications would not start. I will format my phone and SD card and try installing this ROM from scratch.

What oc kernal are people using? I am coming from BB v0.1 and was having problems with wifi and 3G, this seems to be much better and the theming looks fantastic!:icon_ banana:
