See how dark this is at the top in comparison to the bottom?

Yes I see that now, could it be a theme issue? Are you running a theme? I've never had that issue before

Ok... Finally got the new build working and so far I am really liking it (i did have some issues and had to completely wipe my phone). It does seem so much better than the previous builds (granted I have only used it for an hour now). Everything appears to be working for me except wifi. I can connect to the wifi and I applied the wifi fix and it kind of works but for the most part it just feels really slow and latent -- it is definitely slower than the previous build. For example, I have my tablet and my gnexus right next to the droid pro and the pro takes significantly longer to load things up. 3g works fine* (for 3g i guess). I am not sure if this is an issue yet or if it something on my end but I will look into it more later... I just wanted to point it out. Anyways when I get back home later today I will reboot the router (maybe a problem with it?) and play around with the pro some more to see if i can get it to work right.
I also had a few GSM questions (data and voice)... is this going to work if i go overseas? How can I test GSM here (in the states)? If I am still on verizon can I get it to connect to GSM instead of CDMA? Can I unlock the phone and change it (service and all) to ATT?

JC ...

Any diagnostics you want me to run ?
As GSM data is not working on this and email's are very important to me ... shall i revert back to my Gummy ...

JC ... If you could create a tiny ZIP for the new recovery as well(similar to your oldrecovery.zip) then i can restore this ROM after flashing the newrecovery.zip(from the old recovery) and directly restore a backed up version to test the GSM side of it ...

Currently i will have to flash your ROM zip each and every time i have to test your ROM and then restore this ROM that i have backed up ... which is a long route ... compared to flashing the newrecovery and restoring the backup directly :(

hope to hear from you on the above ...

While on a CM7 rom, open Rom Manager then select Flash ClockworkMod, select Motorola Droid X (2nd-init) to update your old CWM from a 2/3.x build to a 5.x build. Reboot, make a backup and voila, compatible backups with the new CWM that's on these builds. I've never had issue restoring between CM7 and CM9 builds.

I flashed the newest build and the mac address fix in Terminal isn't doing anything. It's saying not found. I'm connected to a wifi network. Advice?

Did you flash the zip called 6-18 or 6-18-with-mac? I forgot to include it initially when I uploaded the zip the first time, but I corrected it later on. I saw there were 5 downloads of the original 6-18 zip that didn't have the Mac address fix, perhaps one of the downloads was you?
