[ROM] [6/18/12] CM9 ICS For the Droid Pro

New zip in the OP! Please report your findings for others if you're on either CDMA or GSM as I cannot test those out because my Pro no longer has service going to since I got my GNex

Congrats on the new rom posting.

Lot of changes in the last few months w/ cynagenmod 9.. I really love the weather and calendar on the lockscreen options that are there now.

I don't know about everyone else but I know my wife mentioned that since being on the newer roms she's had almost double the battery performance.

Mine was really bad the last week or so with the old CM9. Hoping a data wipe (which I did when I flashed) will get me back to normal.

Mine seemed a tad bit better than the previous CM9 ROMs. Still nothing compared to CM7 though; ICS is a real battery eater

I've done really well on ICS since you started it with the exception of the last week or two.

Might be my phone dying on me. Almost two years since I got it.

Okhay !!!

Just flashed this ROM on my DP ... i am a GSM user ... i am stuck at the network settings ... i have done #*#*4636#*#* before for gummy ROM successfully ... but i just don't seem to get it right on this ROM ... help most appreciated !!!

Are there any other GSM users having issues with voice or data in the new ROM?

1. The issue as already mentioned above ... currently my testing menu reads "GSM auto(PRL)" somehow ... the GSM network bars showing in the notification bar ...

2. Unable to access 'Mobile Networks' settings ... 'com.android.phone' error

3. Currently able to make outgoing calls ... unable to receive !!! ... not reachable message
Same applies to SMS messages as well ... outgoing working ... unable to receive !

4. Unable to access APN settings as a result of the 2nd issue above.

so many for now ...

thanks,

JC ...

Any diagnostics you want me to run ?
As GSM data is not working on this and email's are very important to me ... shall i revert back to my Gummy ...

JC ... If you could create a tiny ZIP for the new recovery as well(similar to your oldrecovery.zip) then i can restore this ROM after flashing the newrecovery.zip(from the old recovery) and directly restore a backed up version to test the GSM side of it ...

Currently i will have to flash your ROM zip each and every time i have to test your ROM and then restore this ROM that i have backed up ... which is a long route ... compared to flashing the newrecovery and restoring the backup directly :(

hope to hear from you on the above ...

i've experienced the same problems descriped by aiamuzz ...
first switching to gsm auto (prl) ... than i've mobile connection but it's very instable,
i've got lots of reconnects which i didn't have with your 6-6 cm7 release.
the mobile network settings aren't accessible ... force close of com.android.phone.
if i make it fast enough the mobile settings menu is visible for a very short time and under network type
stands lte/cdma ... maybe there's a issue.

keep up the great work :)

Is there any CDMA users that can try and see if they can get to the "Mobile Networks" menu? Also see if you can get a logcat of the failure.. that will be the quickest way to help diagnose the crash

Ahhh I think I'm ready to jump into CM9 very soon :) Will give the early adopters another week or so to report issues, then I'm flashing it.

Here's my battery after today. This is improved over the previous couple weeks. Today was also higher usage than normal (wasn't very busy at work)

Ahh, still looks kinda below average. What was the screen on time for that segment?
