Not sure what happened, but I updated to 1.1 and everything seemed fine. Used the snazzy RomManager Queue to install 1.1 and then my kernel of choice right afterward so that I'd be up and running after reboot. Worked great.
But then I was poking around, and decided that the damn twitter apk bugged the hell outta me, so I was gonna kill it. Went into system/app, found the apk, opened in, hit uninstall... but nope, dont have permissions. So I "THOUGHT" that the godmode script would allow me to uninstall things from the system/app folder using astro - that's what I thought that was for. Well it didn't work. I had removed the goodies folder before this, but that shouldn't have mattered since it doesnt need the folder. When I ran the "godmode" it took a while, I thought Terminal was hung up, but then it finally said it worked. Well, after I found out that it didnt work - or doesnt do what I assumed - I went back in Terminal to try to manually remove it using mountsys and then just removing the apk. WELL... I typed su hit enter, and it told me that permission is denied. Tried several times, rebooted, etc... no dice. Checked SU, Terminal still was allowed, tried removing to get a new allow, nope. So I uninstalled Terminal. Tried to go into Market to reinstall Terminal, NOPE... Said connection error or w/e and closed. SO, used my backup and went back to 1.0! LOL, yeah idk wtf happened. ALL I WANTED WAS 10% BAT INCREMENTS! hahaha Possible battery % fix W/O A FULL ROM? I love 1.0 as is.... J-Man???
