[6-22] Froyo Kangerade V1.1 - 10% Battery, GUI for scripts, All a2sd option, 7 Themes

had no trouble downloading and installing the new rom, however when scrolling through my apps it moves very slow. I have to swipe several times before it moves down to the next page and this is using the launcher that came with the rom.

Did you wait for it to finish sync? Mine was extremely slow at 1st, but soon as the phone finished doing its thing it was fine.

On a side note I'm extremely impressed with this ROM so far. The options you have prior to install are insane. Only thing that concerns me is the speed after a few days has passed. Guess we will have to wait and see. Every ROM i have tried up till now slows down after a few days except for the very 1st release of Froyo themed with clean black.

I really like this so far. I just hope i don't lose any performance in the days to come.

Don't use the kangerade scripts included with 1.1
download kangerade scripts v03 in my signature

yeah? what's wrong with Jrummy's?

Yes, what are the differences between the two?

"Jrummy's" is just a link to canvs2321's first version. He's been bustin his tail since Jrummy posted that link to update everything to fix/enhance various things, so that's why he is recommending v03. Hope that clears it up.

Any suggestions on a overclock kernel to use with this? I'm looking for one that includes slots for 800mhz, 900mhz, 1gig, 1.1 gig and 1.25gig. I tried Chevy's 7 slot low voltage kernel and when i booted back up it said my battery was dead and powered off. I asked before but no one answered.

I'm using P3 1.2 with no problems.

just finished kangerade.scripts.v03
http://www.mediafire.com/?gllqzjjhzzzKangerade.Scripts.v03

try it out, much better design and application workings :)

I promiss after this question I stop asking so much.

can you tell me how exacthly do Install this?
I dont see any oction to install it with astro.

I think I can delete the other using root explorer. can I?

Thank you.

I don't like skrewing around with the terminal (which is why I love this tool) so I just use Titanium to uninstall the old version and root explorer to install the new one. Couple of clicks, a reboot, and I'm in like flynn! (cept no a2sd yet, doh!)

Is me the only one not able to move apps to sd?

I can't either but I'm just waiting patiently for something to pop up on the forums as to what I'm doing wrong. Must be something simple because I haven't seen many other people with any issues, unless nobody else uses this feature (which i doubt).

Quick question Did u have a2sd installed? If so v03 doesn't check
those directories. I'm@work now.but when I get home
Ill add the backup apps to check?/sd-ext/* or /system/app

Sorry, not sure exactly what you are asking. I never used a2sd until BB v0.2.1 when Pete introduced the "all apps to sd" option, I figured I'd give it a whirl. Here's what I did:

1. Backup up SDcard
2. Used ROM Manager to partition SD card (default settings)
3. Upgraded to BB v0.2.1
4. Restored all the files to my SDcard
5. BB automatically moved all my apps to the sdcard.
6. Didn't like it.
7. Wiped Data/Cache several times and upgraded to Kangerade v1.0
8. Never thought about a2sd again.
9. Until v1.1 came out, and I liked the option to leave it so only apps that are meant to be on the SD card go to the SD card.
10. Wiped data/cache a few more times and upgraded.
11. Upgraded to v2 of your script (and then to v3).
12. Haven't been able to figure out how to enable moving apps to the sdcard.

Sorry for the long play by play, but I figured at least I didn't leave anything out.

OK so what am I missing? Do I need to install something or change a setting somewhere to enable a2sd?

Stock 800mhz Kernel

Hey is there a way I can revert back to the stock kernel if I try one of the others and don't like the results?

Oh and what app are you guys using to take the screen caps?

Thanks,

R

I tried to use it once more with no luck. Luckily this time I had a backup of Kangerade so it's all good. I was going to try chevy's MV kernel but i think ill try the one you suggested first to see if it works fine. All I have to do now is wait for recovery to finish

I think I may have figured out my problem. Do I have to use a kernel compatible with FroYo? Or are they all the same?

tweaked colors a little bit...now I just have to wait for the increment on the notification color mod to be switched back to 10% since it reverts this 1.1 mod back to 20% increments... unless someone knows where to find a guide to change it...?
1) Looks like a Riddlebox theme
2) how did you change the colors? Mainly in the battery/text in the notification?

I figured out my problem. I was trying to install a non froyo kernal. DOH! Brain fart!

Script confirmation

The script UI should confirm actions...be real easy to accidentally click and screw something up. Not knocking it, I LOVE the new script UI!!!!!

HELP - I can't get any apps to install from the Market. I've done the full data wipe three times and the tried installing the rom. What gives?

im on cm 508. and i installed the script UI v02 the other day. can i just use astro or root explorer and flash v03 over the old version?

Hey guys, a couple different things I've noticed: first, my music widget has lost the smoked glass-esque theme (Red, v. 1.1); second, the calculator app doesn't completely fill the screen (maybe 1/4 inch or so is a black bar at the bottom). Other than that, this is the absolute best ROM I have ever used on my droid. Keep up the awesomeness!!! dancedroid
