Do you know when you will be releasing a ROM compiled from source?!?!?!

I'm running my compiled stock build of FRF83 right now but I want to recompile using a different vendor setup.. just be patient.

So I applied the kangerade goodies update and it worked fine until I rebooted my phone. Now it says I don't have root access. What's up?

Also I have no 3G.

Tried clearing cache and rebooting and after the boot animation I got black screen. Guess it's time to nandroid it. Can't remember if I backed up 1.1 or not. I know I backed up 1.0 so either way I know I got a good backup.

JRummy is gonna address some of these issues. But from what I can tell, there's something with 1.1 that get's triggered and all hell breaks loose. Some people lose 3G, lose root access, market connectivity (which could be the same as losing 3G)... If ur comfy with 1.1 and it ran well, then I guess you could go back to that, but otherwise personally I'm back on 1.0 :-(

I think my issue was the same. I lost 3G and Root. After several exercises to narrow down which thing I did after install that fubar'd it, I came to the conclusion that it was either godmode or a2sdauto.

Didn't do either of those, but added goodies, Blue LauncherPro, Chevy#1 1.2 ULV Kernel, and the newest Kangerade Script program and still no issues.

i cant get the lwp to work... installed blue today and the goodies pack and they wont apply is says... Changed lwp to Android lwp! ...but it didnt

if i remember correctly, didnt some of the wallpapers from 1.0 replace the neural network lwp? is that still in effect for 1.1?

Yes, I reloaded 1.1, updated to Chevy's 1.2 ULV Kernel, added setcpu, ran blockads, added goodies and kangerade script, then ran a bunch of the scripts to remove apps/add fonts/etc. All is fine so far, no issues. Added all of my apps back too.

I avoided godmode and a2sdauto like the plague, though. I think it had to be one of those.

Take your time and do what you need to do to create something you feel good about putting out. We're all anxious to see more of your brilliant work, but don't let us pressure you into putting out something you're not comfortable or happy with. Stability and confidence is worth waiting for.

And don't forget to eat and sleep.

I tried "GODMODE" yesterday, completely fried system, all apps would FC, would not even let me shut off the phone. Absolutely certain running this caused my issues, reloaded a fresh copy to correct.

I agree, stability, speed, and confidence is def worth waiting for. Even if it means not being first out of the gate. Cant wait to see whats in store.

Think the 3g issue is the goodies.zip updater-script.. will check it out now.
