[ROM] [6/6/2012] CM7 for the Droid Pro based on GB

it's possible overclock this device with cm7??
I've never tried it before :/

I used Jackpot's CM9 version the last several months and recently flashed back to his CM7 to see what had changed. Wow! Fast, stable, and battery life is awesome. ICS is great but I'm actually starting to think this is better for everyday use on this device.
Agreed. The 2.6 kernel simply isn't meant for ICS, plus the Pro is kinda under-powered anyways, not sure how it would perform if we had a 3.0 kernel, but we will never know :/

Had any issues with data dropping intermittently?

Just downloaded the newest CM7 after making a backup of CM9. I'll give it a shot and see if it's much better (not that there's anything wrong with CM9). I'll flash it in the morning so that I can take the morning to get things set up like I like.

gsu_golfer can u please tell me how ur CM9 backup restore operation goes when u move back to it after testing CM7 ... reason i am asking is bcos non of the .tar backups generated out of the 5.x recovery i was able to restore successfully all the .tar backups abort with an error while restoring .. /system ... also before u move to CM9 also do make a nandroid backup of ur CM7 as well(one such backup i had made of CM7 too did not restore successfully) and let me know if the same can be restored successfully ...

I had this issue with radio n_01.53.00r and argentinian kernel (I can't back to american kernel...) on my american droid pro.
With my european pro it is all ok (american kernel 4.7.3 and european radio)!

It is very fast, stable and it is really for everyday use.

With ICS theme (mdpi), you can forget CM9...
