I don't know exactly how you went about it, but it should work by:
1. Turn off Droid.
2. Turn on X.
3. *228 or use My Verizon website to activate X on your line. If it is activated,
4. Turn on Droid.
5. Step 3 for Droid on her line.

That's assuming that you bought the X either retail, or as an upgrade for your line. If you bought the X as an upgrade for her line, this might get tricky because the X has to be initially activated on her line, not yours. If you have a third (old, spare, whatever) phone, then you can activate the X on her line, then activate the spare on her line (freeing the X), activate the X on your line, then activate the Droid on her line.

I am running Kang 5.0.9. I have been on it for a while, but I wiped and flashed the new stock build, I had some issues so I wiped and flashed back to Kangerade yesterday. When it came back up the sync indicator came on and hasn't turned off. Well it has turned off, but only when I lost signal driving yesterday. It stays on when I connect wifi too. It has been on for over 24 hours now. I can't figure out what is syncing or why. Any ideas?

Well, I'm not sure what I am doing wrong, but I can't seem to get the mod to install properly.

I have successfully rooted my Droid, then using SPrecovery attempted to install the latest version 5.0.9 It says that installation is complete, but when I go to reboot the phone it just goes into an endless loop of reboots.

I have successfully restored my phone back to the 2.1 root stage, but now I am unsure as to what I should do.

Any suggestions??

Reflash recovery a couple times and try again . I had the same type problem and after I rooted I re flashed recovery and all went well.

I was finally successful in getting 5.0.9 installed, thanks to ROM Manager!

I have successfully installed Flash and it seems to be working fine.

I'm having issues getting live wallpapers and boot animations to work. I've installed the Goodies ROM, and then I've gone into the script program and run the scripts for the live wallpaper and boot animations, and it comes back and tells me what directories they were installed to.

When I do a hard-press on the desktop, then select wallpaper, then live wallpapers, and then select the wallpaper I want, I get a message that states:
The application Android Live Wallpapers (process com.android.wallpaper) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.

Any ideas??

And I'm not sure what I need to do with the boot animation in order to get it to work.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I don't know if this has been discussed previously in this forum, but has anyone had an issue with the location based services not working off of the tower triangulation?
