815, 810, or next Nexus?

Of what's currently available, the G4 is my top choice. I'd like to flash ROMs, kernels, etc. I know we have unreleased root on the G4 so it's only a matter of time. Bootloader is a different story at the moment, except for the EU 815 that will void warranty if unlocked. I am contemplating buying an EU 815 (I will be in Europe soon and can purchase one there), buying a subsidized 810 from At&t, or just get the latter to hold me over until the next Nexus is released (I don't want the nexus 6). Given the options above, which would you choose and why? Thanks in advance.
