ADW Launcher in Market

ADW got an update and it seems correct the f/cs I was getting earlier. I have to change my ranking now.
1) LP tied Its smoother and offer 4 apps at the bottom
1) ADW customization is almost endless. It is just as quick as LP the difference is more perception then reality now
2) Helix even though they lost the crown as the best, it still is a good home app. The lag is why it is not number one anymore.
3) Zeam its quick, but still in slow development and do not offer lwp support yet.
4) Freedhome still in development as well.
5) stock; basic, smooth, does the job. Only have 3 screens

My scroll speed is 26. overshoot 100 and it is fast even at 550 (my phone is on the charger so the clock speed drops back to stock)
Just now trying this out. There's just one problem I'm having:
When trying to create a short cut within another program (for example Audio Manager or Apps Organizer). I am choose "add to home" or "create shortcut" and I get the message saying the shortcut was created. But I can't find it on any of my screens! Anybody else have this problem??

the dev just started getting reports about this with bettercut ect today I think and he is working on it seems it was not an issue when it was replacing the stock home and is only an issue with the market version ill ask if he has any news on it

I haven't tried this, but it's possible that a shortcut was added to the stock home screen.
yea they are being placed on the stock screen atleast thats what most users are reporting

TekHawk, the settings you posted for desktop scrolling work well for me. What are you using for the zoom effect speed for animated app drawer?

I hope the dev can add pinch preview and preview zooming, like LauncherPro.

Have been using Launcher Pro since it came out, and was very happy except for a lag problem switching to the default home screen. For example, when using Touiteur and then browsing in the stock browser, it would lag terribly switching to the home screen (only 2 widgets (BW and Google news)and no live wallpaper, stock Droid 2.1)). Helix also did this and it was reproducible every time.
While I had no expectations for ADW, it is the only home replacement that avoids this problem (never had this with the stock launcher). For me it’s a keeper (and also does not lag with live wallpaper). Best so far.

On your home screen press the phone's menu button, and select:
Settings > Applications > Manage applications
Then click the menu button again and select:
Filter > All
Scroll down to Home, click on it, and on the following screen click the button labeled "Clear defaults".
The next time you press the phone's Home button, you'll see that dialog again. Now that you know how to undo defaults, don't hesitate to make ADW your default.
