ALERT! 2.2 FroYo Circus continues...FRG01B is Official get it here.

So should I just use ROM Manager to gp to the rooted/stock image named "Verizon Droid 2.2 FRG01B". This should allow me to cancel the update notfication and have a 2.2 based system and still use free WiFi Tether...

Any 2.2 ROM will run the WiFi tethering app from my signature, though in the worst case scenario you'll need a different kernel. There are enough of those you should be able to find one that works fine for you. :)

Why can't I edit my posts on this thread????...

Hi,

You must have had many posts like this.

I have a few questions, from which the answers i couldn't get out of the original post.

I have a Samsung Galaxy s GT-I9000
Baseband I9000 XXJM2
Firmware 2.1
kernel: 2.6.29 Root@SE-S603 #2

I rooted the phone and did a oneclicklagfix v2 on it.

Is "FRG01b" the update android 2.2 for a rooted phone?

And, is it compatible with my phone?

TY
