ALERT: Droid X High quality Pics

After seeing its bigger than the EVO i highly doubt i would buy this. The EVO is even questionably too big but if the EVO were on Verizon i would buy it.

Well the X looks about the same actually, just not as wide as the Evo. So it may be a better experience with this. We'll just have to wait to get hands on with it.
dancedroid

Its skinnier but taller than the EVO. The EVO seems like it would be easier to handle and wont be bulging out of your pocket like the Droid X will.

Is it actually skinner than the EVO or is that an illusion because it is so much taller. The width is a deal-breaker for me. Holding the EVO one-handed caused major pain in my wrist due to arthritis and carpal tunnel.

That video has been tossed about a lot in this forum, but keep in mind the 3630 is clocked faster than the 3430. I.e. a 3430 running overclocked will be right around the same performance.

The 3630 should do it with a smaller a power envelope though, which is important in a mobile device esp with a larger screen.

No, a 3430 at the same clocked ghz will not have the same performance

It would probably be within 2%-5% which for all intents and purposes is the same. It has been discussed in numerous threads.

Seems like Apple is always one step ahead. Why isn't there front facing camera's. Ridiculous that Android is always playing catch up. They have just as good of engineers as Apple.

That is plain wrong.

The Evo has a front facing camera. Droid 2 is supposed to have a front facing camera. Have you not heard of those two phones?

lol

Yea, the Droid and the Inc are not the only Android phones in this world....Seeing as the EVO dropped first, Apple is playing catch up in the front facing camera dept., if only by a few weeks.

Well technically speaking Android handsets and the iPhone are both playing catch up to Nokia who have had front facing cams and video calling for about the past 5 years.

LOL

Well damn. There u go, they both playing catch up to someone else....

I am getting the X. Now I know how the Inc owners felt. I wasnt feeling the Inc., mainly cuz I thought I needed a slide out keyboard. Truth is I barely use it. And when I found out u can navigate the recovery screen without it, I was sold on not needing the physical keyboard.

I wasnt feeling the Inc back then, But I am definitely feeling the X. For real, if it wasnt for the X coming out, I might have got an Inc soon.

I heard this device (Droid X) comes with a snazzy little dock.

Guy I spoke to also said it was clocked at 800GHZ

Some conflicting reports I'm getting...

Nonetheless this device will be fantastic.

800 Ghz! Holy crap! Liquid Nitrogen and micro cold fusion reactor included?! :)

And as for the apply vs android, you're comparing their manufacturing to googles code work?
Google does not make the phones, just the OS and the best apps for that OS.
