Hows the sapphire kernel on UD7?

That's cvpcs's kernela that I've been mentioning as hving issues with WiFi, and that Bukada also mentioned... it'll boot up with his kernels, so you could try it to see hoe it works for you...

can anyone post a link to flash the stock keyboard? I dont want to replace the multi touch keyboard I want both. Running UD 7.0 Thanks.

Flash this in recovery. Will install the stock keyboard and the lib file that it uses. It works on clockwork unsure if it works in sprec.

If it doesnt work shoot me a pm and I'll walk you through it manually.

Thanks for your post and message. I flashed that update but it replaced the droid 2 multitouch with the stock keyboard. Just wondering if there is a way to keep both. I guess I could keep the stock you gave me and re download the multitouch droid 2 keyboard. Thanks again for your help

I have been noticing issues with my Droid since I have installed UD7.

1. Widgets dissapear (Problem Loading Widget) & can't put in back because it is missing from the Widget menu. Have to uninstall & reinstall Widget (Various Calender Apps)

2. Problems downloading Apps from Market. Downloads and hangs, occassionally installs but mostly never gets to install portion.

Using UD7 & P3 Kernel.

Using UD7 & P3 Kernel.

The P3 kernels weren't playing well with UD7 for me. I switched to Chevy's and no more problems.

As far as your widgets...make sure that any app that uses widgets is NOT installed to your SD card. They must be installed to the phone memory.

Not sure about the market. I've had some trouble with certain apps. For instance I can't get the latest updates for Facebook to install. Not sure why that might be.

recommended kernels are chevys or cvpcs's currently. they play better with it then p3's. so if your having any roms issues and ur using a p3 kernel try switching kernels and see if that helps.

everytime I try to flash a new kernel i get stuck in boot loop at the M logo. Anyone experiencing this?

The white on white clock can be changed in UD settings. The transparent drop down isn't quite as easy.

Let me see what I can work up.

Replacing just the status_bar_background.png with a semitransparent png in the framework-res should yield you the transparent drop down...
