Am I the only one who thinks the RAZR will be better than the GNex?

Without a doubt the Razr is the greatest. It has to be. I just paid $280 for the damn thing.......,.,.,dancedroid

Really? Cool..You will like it..If issues occur, remember, like all other androids, it will be fixed...peace!

It will always be top dog

Different strokes for different folks. Nexus is not my top dog, but I'm happy you found yours. Mine arrives tomorrow with the best hardware in the business. How do I know? My OG Droid is still in perfect condition and going to my daughter. Moto build is top dog for me. Enjoy your Nexus. I'll enjoy my Razr. For at least two years easily and more probably.

Will it still be top dog when Moto can't deliver on their promise to bring a timely update to ICS. Q1 or Q2? Yeah right, I'll believe it when I see it.

You may be right about the hardware, but Moto software now is completely different from how it was on the OG. There is no more stock Android, there is bloatware galore, and courtesy of Verizon/Motorola, the Razr features a completely locked/encypted bootloader. It is sad, really, with the direction that Moto has gone over the past couple years IMO. I wish Motorola still followed the principles they used in the OG Droid, but unfortunately, that's not the case.

so many guys in this forum just dont understand and/or look down on us guys that dont care about locked bootloaders, root, roms, ICS and pure android. ICS will come to the razr. it might be in march but guess what..i dont care...the razr comes with 2.3.5 which looks awesome compared to what i am using on my og droid...the razr is my choice..i have done hours and hours of research..looked at vids and reviews and did the same on the nexus...the razr wins for me...motorola build quality and a phone that will last me two years....just like my og droid did..i got that on the first day it came out and have beaten the crap out of it for two years. Never had a case or a screen protector and it still works..its just slowing down and its time for a new phone...a razr..

I, as well of lots of us here can all agree that the D1 was awesome. I have a couple of D1's still and a DX, but with how things are headed I'm chomping at the bit waiting on the GNexus. Moto has not given us the freedom that they did with the D1. This community was strong and working together for so long back in the D1's hay day. It was great, Bugless, SS, Droid Concepts which I'm happy to be a part of, liquid, CVPS, Cyan, and so many more all working together. Now we are all split, the ROMs take forever to get finished, I miss the old days. GNexus shows a glimmer of the old way in a giant awesome new device.

My opinion is the RAZR will lose steam just like the X, X2, D2, D3 and what ever else has been released and locked down as of late. Just my thoughts, I'm not looking for any trouble sorry if anyone takes offense.

Among this community, I think you're probably right - there's simply too much disparity among devices now. Among the masses however, I think the Razr will be it for awhile. It'll be interesting to see how the public takes the Gnex, or how Verizon pushes it (or doesn't) alongside the Razr/Bionic/4S.

dont get me wrong...i love that you guys are out there pushing the limits of these devices and customizing the crap outta them..i find it fascinating to read about all the stuff you guys do with your phones...if i was tech savvy enough i might try some of it...the best i did was go get an update all on my own ..someone on the forums talked me thru it and i was proud to have done it...all i am saying is different people love android for different reasons....the average user and the extreme user both have their place...there is room in these forums for everyone...its not right or wrong..its a choice for the user...
