It should be kept in mind that the X2, like the Incredible2, was more of a refresh than a whole new beast. And simply because the Bionic has a somewhat similar body...that does not automatically means it's going to be rolling out the same or similar specs. You're quoting specs from the first Bionic, back from CES at the beginning of the year. The current speculations and expectations for the new version are an OMAP processor (most likely 4430), 2.3.4, 1GB of RAM (ddr2), etc. Just ask yourself this: would Moto really take a step forward from the X2 with the Droid 3, then take a step back with their new flagship phone for Verizon? No company would intentionally sabotage itself to that extent.
With that said, it is possible, and probable, that we have overhyped the Bionic (since so many of us in this community have been frantically waiting since the first major delay) and it will, in fact, be underwhelming. But as others have said: there's also a chance Moto is going to lay down the gauntlet for all competitors with outstanding specs that they're keeping tightly under wraps until release. Time will tell.
