Amazon leaked bionic pics

Thanks for all the support.

I'm excited about this phone, and I got tired of reading these news threads only to see people trashing it by repeating the same old tired arguments. Fine, we get that you don't like it. Go crap on someone else's parade.

Let the rest of us who have been waiting patiently for months feel good that we're finally going to get our hands on this phone! I'm optimistic that this is going to be a great device!

But as others have said: there's also a chance Moto is going to lay down the gauntlet for all competitors with outstanding specs that they're keeping tightly under wraps until release. Time will tell.

This is my hope. Why the hell else would they be so tight lipped about this? I've never seen a device with so little info leaked pre-release.

My small fear is that a lot or most of the delay was due to a bug and not super bumped up specs. That could be a possible theory for the tight lipped nature regarding Bionic information. That said, this will still be a big step up from my D1.

To quote a certain NFL player, "CAN'T WAIT!" With these new processors having so much power and speed, all I really need is eventual root so I can zap all of the worthless crapware. dancedroid

I can't remember who was part of the arguments over the original revised pix, but I would like to take this opportunity to say "nyaa nyaa nyuh nyaaa nyaaa"to whoever was saying there wasn't a gently sloped bump on the topside of the back of the Bionic.

My greatest fear on the Bionic will be that it turns out to be a "safe-zone" phone with nothing really remarkable other than being the first to combine dual-core with LTE on Verizon. 8MP camera? Safe. 4.3" screen? Safe. LTE? 3 others out for months. Web-top? Out for months on Atrix. 1GB DDR2? Nice actually, but a rather secondary consideration. 4430? D3. If it is simply a sum of these parts, then it will have been a bit of a disappointment for those of us who thought it would be extraordinary.

Dude, what could they possibly do to make it extraordinary and really cool? It will be the fastest dual-core chip on the fastest network on the biggest mainstream screen size (4.3") with one of the largest camera sensors out.

Do you want 3D? I don't. Do you want a kickstand? What else is there?

Now, I'm speaking more to everybody who claims the specs are underwhelming and not just you directly, but what processor would you have it use? One that doesn't even exist in production yet? I read somebody yesterday ask for it to have the OMAP 4470 in it. *facepalm* the 4470 isn't even in production yet!

It seems like guys want the phone to have some "magical" quality that doesn't exist in reality. Maybe it will come with holographic projection or a way to scan people's thoughts into an app that will predict the best gift to buy for them, but I'm guessing that it's simply going to be a phone with excellent phone specs for the month it's released in.

I just want to know what the specs are, and when it will be available?

I like the pictures on Amazon. Thanks for posting.

The looks alone from the new Amazon pics make me want this phone. Knowing it will be 4g LTE/dual core/4.3 screen make it an incredible upgrade from the OG. It's definitely a worthy upgrade, no matter what the specs are they'll be a radical improvement from the OG, which anyone who's smart still has, as nothing else has come out that has been worth the upgrade cost.

It's hard to make an argument for any of the phones released after the D1, other than the Dglobal if you travel outside of the US. The D2 DX DX2 D3 just aren't a big enough jump. Sure it's only my opinion, but I upgrade when something game changing comes around and the Bionic is that phone, visually and hardware wise.

I thought you didn't want this phone because you weren't impressed by the specs? I'm not sure if it was you I was getting that vibe from or someone else so I apologize if it wasn't you.

I haven't upgraded in years so I'm ready for a smart phone. I'm tired of playing with everyone else's android phones. The bionic seems like the one phone I could stand having for a while.

The Thunderbolt just has too many problems. The Charge is fine, no problems...it's just running a single core and it doesn't have LED notification so I'm not to into it. And the revolution is just lackluster in my book. So it's the Bionic or bust!

Wasn't me. Considering we're never known the specs, I can't dislike them. But the proposed specs I thought were very nice. I just disliked the visual changes from the Etna to the current model. But now that we've seen some actual high def pics, I think it looks great, minus the chin not being useful.

Oh okay so that's what it was. I've always liked the form of it but I like the Targa better than the Etna. As for the chin...it doesn't bother me at all.

This is what I'm betting the phone will look like.
