Android 4.0 ice cream sandwich date?

Have to agree with most others on this one, this phone runs great the way it is. I am in no hurry to have it riddled with bugs from ICS. With Go Launcher there is no need for ROMS, you can make it look anyway you want it. This phone is plenty fast stock with just a couple apps frozen, anything else is just being picky. Having full control of the phone with it rooted and the latest TiBu installed, I am more than happy just the way it is.

I'm surprised at the responses in here but thinking about it more, I'm actually not.

I noticed that most, if not all RAZR posts, talking about ICS are not about urgency. Meaning I haven't seen a thread or post with anyone saying "I can't wait to get ICS."

It_seems_ we are all pretty happy where we are at lol. I've never seen this in all my years here. In the past these forums were littered with threads ranging from "I want it now" to "VZW sucks!! Where's our update?!!" lol

Yeah I'm in no big hurry to get ICS. After owning the Galaxy Nexus for a couple weeks I honestly don't see what the big deal is. Yeah it will be "better" assuming it's not full of bugs. But it's not the second coming of christ as everyone makes it seem.

The only thing I'm looking forward to in ICS is the ability to take screenshots without root.

I was reading about ICS on Phone Arena (I think) and as they were going through the features I kept thinking "The Razr has that ". There were some features that were missing but a majority, and most of the best features, we're already present.

I remember watching the ICS unveiling and Matias saying that they got some great ideas from Sense, Touchwiz and Blur. I say they pretty much took the best features from all three and incorporated them into ICS.

So if Google takes features from the big three skins and makes them part of the OS, is it really "vanilla Android " or is it simply a skinned version of Gingerbread?

Yep not worried about ICS on the razr, works great as is. Now getting it on the Xoom .....Hurry the hell up!

They just announced a new TV from Google that will have ICS on it. They also announced Droid 4 and say that it will come with gingerbread. My guess is that razr won't see ICS till a few weeks after the Droid 4 comes out

I'm not ready to concede that ICS will be better, the reviews I've read have been meh. As far as I'm concerned I just want more Roms and rooted options.
