Android wear update

All was working fine but since a Huawei Wear app update I cannot pick up calls directly on the smartwatch since the notification dosent even appear. When I have the setting "pass phone's audio through watch" on Bluetooth settings OFF the call notifications come through but can't talk through the watch, evidently.
Any ideas how to fix this?

Cheers
Have you tried resetting the device?

Yes, I believe it will. Even if it doesn't I don't think k you will be able to re-pair the watch to the phone without resetting the watch after clearing data for the AW app

Will wiping data from the Android Wear app force me to reset the watch? If not I could try that first.
Thanks
If you just clear data/cache for the app on your phone, you won't have to reset the watch. I did this recently and had no issue. It fixed the issue I was having and I didn't have to do a full reset of the watch.

I just cleared the AW app cache and data on my phone and my watch notifications seem to be working now.

Thanks for the clarification Jonny. I was mistaken and thought it would require a watch factory reset. Good to know it does not. I apologize for the misinformation @Badelhas

Not a problem. I wasn't that clear about what was involved when I tried it & posted the message I quoted above. I just stated that my issue was fixed. Not very helpful. Haha

This is getting ridiculous. The issue started again, I can't pick up the calls directly on the smartwatch. :(
Also, my Moto 360 1st generation vibrated when I got too far from the smartphone, which is nice so we don't forget our smartphone somewhere. This Huawei Watch doesn't. Is this normal? I thought this was an Android Wear feature, not a Motorola one...

Cheers

Idk that my Watch Urbane buzzes when I get too far from my phone. It gives a slight buzz when it connects. I rarely get that far from my phone. I also barely noticed the buzzing on the watch anymore since I've worn it every day for so long.

About the only time I notice my watch buzzing anymore is the ghost buzzes when I'm not wearing it [emoji20]
