Android wear update

I'm still on AW app version 2.0.0.147...... And no update available in the Play Store. Have you tried the resync all apps option in the AW app?

I've downloaded this version from apk store. I've Uninstalled it and installed the Google play version and everything is fine now. Thanks

Oops! I suppose someone posted a not-so-good app version. At least you caught it and installed the official app.

Or the pessimistic view: someone posted the Android Wear version we will get in the next few days and I will have the same problems soon [emoji2]

True...But since it's an official Google product they would fix it right away. Google would not let an AW app update hang out there for long that completely breaks notifications on every watch. They make mistakes like everyone else on Earth, but would fix that very quickly. [emoji41]

Ywarwedar I updated the Android Wear app on the smartphone and now notifications stopped appearing on my Huawei Watch. Restarted smartphone and watch, to no avail.
Anyone else experiencing this problem?

Cheers

I got this version just the other day from the play store. My notifications weren't working today...

Yup. LG Watch Urbane.

The last time I had an app update that killed notifications, I ended up resetting the watch. I'm going to try disconnecting & reconnecting first, but I'm thinking a reset will be in order...

I tried all that and it didn't work.
What watch?

I'm guessing your only other option is to reset the watch. Like I said before, I've had updates that ruined notifications and that was the only fix that worked. I think I got lucky this time and we'll see if this lasts...

I've done that, wiped cache partition, nothing worked until I installed the previous version of the Android Wear app.
Edit: Huawei Watch

You said you side-loaded the newer version of the app, though?

If that's the case, I'd just stick with the official Play Store version.

We've compared versions before with different phones and watches and it seems like we're all on slightly different builds. I'd bet that has something to do with phone and watch model, so I'd rely on the Play Store knowing what version of the app you need instead of downloading other versions elsewhere.

All was working fine but since a Huawei Wear app update I cannot pick up calls directly on the smartwatch since the notification dosent even appear. When I have the setting "pass phone's audio through watch" on Bluetooth settings OFF the call notifications come through but can't talk through the watch, evidently.
Any ideas how to fix this?

Cheers
