Android wear update

No issues with AW 2.0 Notifications on my Moto 360 Gen 2.

I have only noticed one issue since the 2.0 update with my Moto 360 2nd gen. The clock that comes on while charging doesn't come on anymore. Sajo are you having the same issue?

I'm happy with watch size, just less bezel! I'm using some classic luxury watch faces and actually wish the display was a little larger (but actually looks pretty good if I use photoshop to enlarge some of the items that are too small to read easily).

The new MisFit Vapor that expected to hit the streets ticks off some of the boxes missing on current Smartwatches

Not so sure about that:
Connected - rather than standalone - GPS
NOT running Android Wear but some sort of proprietary crap

Two pretty big misses in my book.

Misfit gave up on their proprietary OS and the Vapor will in fact be an AW 2.0 device.

But yes without a stand alone GPS it's back off my list. I mean come on how can they say it's a fitness watch with on board music so you can leave you phone at home...but oops that means no GPS???

No. From what I read on the Moto forum that is the new "normal" behavior if the Always On display option is not turned on. I have Always On turned on so my watch still goes into Clock mode when I put it on the charger.

I downloaded the new AW app update earlier this evening and realized a little while ago that my watch stopped displaying Notifications. I felt it vibrate but nothing showed on the screen, and swiping up showed "No Notifications". I restarted my watch and it's now displaying new Notifications again.

Glad to hear. I'm hoping mine will be feeling better tomorrow, but I'm not too confident since a factory reset of the watch didn't fix it.

My watch has been displaying new notifications all day, as far as I can tell. It kind of sounds like we have another intermittent issue that affects some watches, but not all. Kind of like the "re-pair & re-establish Trusted Device" issue that has affected some watches since AW 2.0, but not everyone. Wonderful (sarcastic).

1 step forward, 4 steps back. I'm hoping to make a career change that might mean me not wanting to wear my Urbane to work everyday though, so I guess maybe it won't matter that much to me soon.

You'd think they'd make absolutely sure that notifications still work on every device before pushing an update. Besides the watch functions of it, that's the biggest feature for me, especially at work.

It did seem to show my music controls at one point after the update, but then didn't later that same day, so hopefully it's just a temporary glitch.
