Another 4G outage?

No 4G in Tempe, Az either. What's the dealio? Just got my Verizon bill in the mail too. I've noticed there's never a problem in their billing department.

My Razr was having issues holding on to a 3G signal even in CDMA only mode. It would flip between 3G, 1x, and no data. What I did to fix it was to turn on airplane mode, wait something like 5 seconds, then turn off airplane mode. After that, the Razr locked on to a 3G signal and held it.

Is anyone else out this afternoon? I can never tell if it is just my phone dropping or another 4G outage. I can't get 3g either...

Yep! It's been out. Actually I called Verizon who had no update but to say that the issue was so bad that they had
Stopped data service to 4G devices. No 4G, no 3G. This was the 3rd time in the month of Dec with data outages.
I suggest all affected call Verizon. They will issue a credit if you've experienced data issues on the days there were

Out all day in central Virginia. Not much good having unlimited data when no 3/4G.

I did that too initially but it only worked for 5 minutes

I agree! Call Verizon. If everyone affected asked for credit they would stop having so many outages I bet!

You credit is $30 divided by days in the month. For a 30 day month, that is a credit of $1. Sometimes you get a generous rep who will give you $2!

I will allow 4G it's growing pains cuz its SO awesome for the times it's on!
