Personally, I couldn't see the point in paying full price for a phone. I would look up used, older phones for much cheaper to pass the time until May. That's only 6 months longer. Unless you really want ICS, 4G, more memory, HD screen, etc., I would go with something a year old. I'm too cheap to spend $600+ on a phone. Just my opinion lol
Bionic has ics and 4g. Pay $600 for hd screen and faster processor is a waste. I'd rather buy extended battery for bionic and wait till May. Ics is garbage, get phone with jelly bean if you are spending $600.
That's exactly why I want the phone. I do really want ICS, 4G, and an HD screen. If I'm gonna go with a phone a year old, I might as well stick with my year old Bionic. I don't mind paying that kind of money for a phone if it'll be worth it, hence my questions. I was sorely wrong about the Bionic and don't wanna be wrong again. I'll just think of it as a Christmas present to myself.
I was under the impression that the Bionic was just a bad phone in general, as in broken and not working. slow, freezes a lot, breaks often, etc. In my mind, I kept thinking about the Incredible 2 since it was a great phone and you can get them for under $150 now. I just cant see 4G, ICS, or an HD screen worth anything more than $300, especially if you could wait and get it for that in 6 months. lol but again, thats just me. Obviously, if your Bionic is broken and NEED a phone, I would do it. I also cant see how the Bionic could possibly be that bad when it comes to battery. Even if you had one extra battery, I cant see it lasting less than a day, or even just work hours. My DI2 lasted me longer than a typical work day when using it. I did have to plug it in during the evening time but I also spend hours on my phone after work. And that was with no extra battery. Now again, this is just me and I'm just speaking from my own experience. I've never even owned a Bionic so I have no idea about it. But I would think, if you just had a typical battery pack, maybe a 3200+ mA one, that would easily get you through the day. You can even get a 10,000 mAh battery pack for just $50 on Amazon. Just my opinion. Please dont take any offense to it.
