DANG. I always miss all the fun "discussions" :/

NOTE, there really wasn't much change, so there isn't going to be a great difference inbetween my build and version 1.1.1. Just a icon and the addition of the rotary lockscreen.

I have this rom on my droid, for some reason i still have the normal screen lock! Where is the rotary screen lock everyone is talking about

Just giving this a little bump for those who want something to flash while waiting for the next release. :)

Ok so this is my favorite rom so far (I've been rooted since 2.0.1) and I have just started messing with values in build.prop. As of now, I have changed my vm heapsize to 28 (instead of 24) and I have changed my LCD Density to 220 (from 240) as well as the build saying "1.1.2-Tanknspank Compile" of course. Changing the LCD Density basically increases DPI, thus giving you more on your screan. Change the heapsize seems to be working out extremely well, I can definitely tell a difference will the overall smoothness of the phone. Just be sure not to raise it too high or it will make your phone laggy and unstable. I have only come into one problem which is in the rotary lockscreen. For some reason the farthest right part of the gray background to the slider is missing. I am assuming that this is because the rotary lock slider background doesn't have the resolution to reach the whole screen (which is frutstrating because the other regular lockscreen works fine. Is there away to adjust framework.res to fix this? Or is there somewhere else that this can be adjusted? Thanks.

This is just a port of the 2.0 lockscreen. It was not designed to be used on a higher or lower density screen. Many people do not change the DPI because it can cause problems with certain apps. If it is that big of a deal, then I would recommend filing a feature request on the bug tracker.

After searching...for a long long while, I was able to locate the gray rotary lock screen slider background in the framework-res.apk. The file is named "jog_dial_bg.png". Obviously without the quotes. I simply pulled it from framework-res from my phone onto my computer and then opened it in photoshop. I changed the image size pixel dimensions width to 540 and it fits perfectly now, and looks just as smooth as it did before. Couldn't be happier. This is now the most flawless rom I've used.

edit: Also Tank, as I said before my vm heapsize is set up at 28 right now (changed from 24). Do you have any suggestions in regards to the vm heapsize settings?

I can't really comment on vm heapsize settings as i don't quite understand what it does.

as for the lockscreen, does it work fine when you put your dpi back to stock?

I'm going to wait until my phone charges for a bit (its at 15%) so I can do a quick nandroid backup and then I'll check and see if it still works with 240 as the dpi setting and just edit this post

Edit: I just changed my lcd density setting back to the original 240 setting and the rotary clock still works just as before. If anyone has interest in lowering their lcd density setting and still want the rotary unlock screen let me know and I can upload my resized "jog_dial_bg.png" file.
