Do I have to wipe data and cache coming from 1.1.1? That seems like an awful PITA...but I wanna use this build! Choices, choices...

Anyone using Angry Birds beta with this build? Is it working ok? I could NOT get it to work. It would just give a black screen and go back to the home screen.

Ok, I thought it was just me. Going back to 1.1.1 fixes the issue, so, I'm not sure what's going on there. Tank, any ideas?

Angry birds broke for me too (black flash then back to home). No big deal, just adding to the confirmations.

Angry birds works flawlessly along with everything else in the Rom for me. This is the smoothest Rom I've ever had.

Other than the angry birds issue, I'd agree that this is as stable as 1.1.1 for me, as well. Not sure what's going on with that. Any of you that it's not working for using Launcher Pro by chance?

Angry Birds has played perfectly for me on 1.1.1 and on the updated 1.1.1. Maybe the incompatibilify lies elsewhere with a certain setting somewhere or within specific kernels? Who knows. Anyways, off the record, Angry Birds looks pretty cool but it could never hold my interest for longer then 5 minutes.

I enjoy it from time to time. It's a good distraction when waiting for my wife or whatever. Was disappointed to see it not working. Like I said, reverting back to 1.1.1 with the exact same settings (I use titanium backup) restored works fine. The only difference between the working and non-working scenario is the updated rom.

Yeah angry birds works fine for me. It is odd that adding a few things to the framework for the rotary lock screen causes it not to work for some people. Hope you figure out what the problem is..

I have no idea. I've gone back to 1.1.1 for now. I don't really have time to mess with it and the rotary lock screen, while neat, is not critical for me. What I'm more concerned with is if you do more builds that contain fixes that I do actually need or want and running into this. It also begs the question of whether angry birds is the only affected application. If I get some time I'll see if I can take another look at this.

I'll be able to tell you shortly if that's the issue or not. I restored my backup of Tank's build and am going to switch to regular launcher and see if that fixes it. Sit tight...I'm almost done restoring.

Nope. I completely uninstalled LP and it's still not working with this build. This is frustrating.

EDIT:

Tried with ADW, no go. Tried restoring back to stock theme, no go (I have black bar mod installed). I'm running out of things to check here.

Was Angry Birds on your sd card for 1.1.1? I wiped when going to 1.1.2, but it didn't wipe .android-secure, so it would not let me install backbreaker, angry birds, or fruit ninja. had to backup my files and format my sd card.

Anyway, I seriously doubt the addition of a few files to the framework could cause this. Disable the rotary lockscreen, reboot and see if it works. I doubt it will help though.
