Any of you own a drone? Looking to get my first one. Going to Hawaii in March and would like to do some aerial video.

Currently looking at following:

DJI Phantom Advanced
3DR SOLO
Parrot AR 2.0 Power Edition

If you're a drone owner, I would love to hear some tips and advice and your general experiences.

I'm still trying to figure out what's missing that makes this one so inexpensive compared to all the others I've found. I think it's just the drone itself. No carrying case, extra batteries, etc. STILL, that's an awesome price!

They are great for professional use, advertising photos/videos but the perverts that want to look at the pools behind every home in my neighborhood ruin it for the idea.

They are at all my running races. Nothing like coming up over an obstacle and you have one hovering above you. I don't care if they are there. NOT above the pool.

I would find it fun for about a month then get bored. I'm not a professional anything so I'd have limited usage.

My sister-in-laws SO does that for events/advertising etc, does it for SEMA, and others in the region, guess is pays the bills...

Yeah, it a pretty profitable business in many parts of the country.
