Any RC fans here

I think I definitely want something 4WD with a decently high stance. The field next to us is definitely a FIELD. Not soft, even grass at all. Would hate to spend that money for something that's not gonna handle that terrain too well since that's the most likely place I'd be cruising it on a regular basis.

You'll pay a little more for 2wd. You can get a 16th scale 4wd for a little over 220 in a traxxas. If you have a local hobby shop check them out. Ours has used stuff all the time. My slash for being a lower truck and 2wd goes through the stuff very well. You have to remeber they have much more power than the ones you get from like Walmart...

Rock crawlers might be something to look at also. They don't go as fast but will climb over/through almost anything.

I would suggest a 4wd one....scale rock crawler would be a choice too...not stupid fast....lol but will go just about anywhere and the right one will even let you play in the mud.....yay...lol. can check out rcsparks videos or rc adventure videos (same guy) on youtube....his videos got me to get a wraith crawler lol

I scoped out the field when I got home. Not as bad as I remembered it. Some large clumps of thicker grass. Definitely want one that can go through a little snow as well though, given my location.

I'm not sure if there's a hobby shop in town. Will have to do some research.

Looks like both of those places have pretty much the same prices on things in my range.

Found a local RC group on fb, but they do flying vehicles. Contacted them & a guy gave me a number of someone that's into cars/trucks.
