Any RC fans here

Nope. No credit cards. Haven't had one for years. I'm on a debt relief program because of those things.

Eh having knowledge of how Credit reporting bureaus work, I don't recommend that but that's a different thread.

These things aren't cheap. Nitro fuel isn't cheap, crashing sucks to repair, etc.

Nitro is pretty reasonable. I pay around $20 a gallon and can easily run a full weekend if not 2 on a gallon

I always wanted to do jets..but now with quads going ultra performance and so fast..I might take that up with my boy...it would get my mad scientist soldering skills back into play other than just soldering guitars and amps...oh and dyi clone foot pedals..

My brother-in-law's an engineer. He built his own quad. Crashed a lot faster than it took him to get the parts. Haha

I think I'll definitely start with electric. That'll be a big enough jump from what I'm used to.

Tuning/keeping a nitro one running is a whole job in its self. And now with the brushless system and LiPo batteries the electric are faster than the nitrous.

I like the sound and smell of the Nitro that's why I run them. But my orange one is battery and I got that just so I can just throw a battery in it and run it.

Let us know if/what you get. The biggest thing is to follow the break in process and buy batteries with good reviews. And trust me you will want 3 or 4 batteries and 2 chargers or a charger that charges 2 at a time. Nothing worst than downtime waiting for batteries to charge.

Well the weather isn't good enough to run them so I will just sit here and stare and take pictures

Here is some on board video from the 4x4... The camera for some reason didn't sync the sound very well.... Not sure if it was my Micro SD or what.... I also had to modify the mount so it didn't move anymore.

Well, it'll be a little while before I've got the money to get into this hobby. Broke down & bought a new laptop today. The old one should run way better than it ever has given the specs, but finally pissed me off enough to be replaced.

I've looked into a kit from a race team for a clone of their quad..and theirs is faster than heck..we shall see...ID like to teach mynsone something other than to bench press.. If you follow..I'm more than a mass moving machine..

It's a WalMart special (HP Pavilion), but so far, it performs the functions I need quite well. It's a shame that I even had to buy a new one since I use my phone for so much, but the few things that I HAVE to have a PC for are important enough to justify it.

Maybe now that I have one that doesn't anger me at everything after boot up, I might use it more. The 17 inch screen is nice as well. Thing is HUGE compared to my last one.
