Anyone have an LG G watch?

Well, I'm overall pretty happy.

The only thing I don't love is that native email client only shows emails received. You can't read them on the device. I'll be getting a Turbo in a few weeks so hopefully it works better with that. If not I will explore other clients.

I have all of my email accounts except for one in gmail, but I hear you. The one I don't have in gmail is the one I get the most emails on with the exception of my actual gmail account, so it'd be nice to read them on the fly.

I found a pleasant little surprise for some. Facebook Messenger allows you to read messages right on the watch and reply with voice like hangouts does. I didn't expect it to do so. Wish they'd add the ability to comment or at least read and like things on the watch in the main app.

Still, I'm very happy with where it's at at this point and looking forward to seeing where they take it. I just hope that the one doesn't become the forgotten child now that the R is out, but seeing as it's got 5.0.1, I'm confident they'll support it for a reasonable amount of time.

Been enjoying your guys' back & fourth on this device....good stuff! [emoji106]

Lol..I've had it since opening day.. Like I said.. It was paired with the g3 for 250$ for the phone and the watch.. I think that's what it was.. (on contract) and I leave it off all the time.. Don't even use it.. It torqued me off that it was having so many issues.. Its probably an update or 2 behind..

I'm glad you guys are liking it.

@94lt update your watch. I too was disappointed with the issues of the G watch but many of those issues (or at least the issues I had) were fixed with 5.02. Android wear still has a ways to go but I am satisfied enough that I now keep my watch on my wrist. It really becomes useful especially during work and workouts.

Definitely give it another go! I got 2 updates when I first fired it up.

I can't speak much for how they compare to how it launched, but I haven't run into too many issues with mine, so I'll defer to PC on that.

User Error? I got an email yesterday and WAS able to read the text on my phone. Odd. I swear this didn't work before. I swear!!! :D
I'll have to test it. I swear I experienced the same issue, but I haven't gotten many emails on that account lately.

I sent myself a short test message & was able to read it. No option to delete from the phone like in Gmail, but at least it could be read.

I, like you, swear that doesn't work the other day though.

So, I've been leary of testing the water resistance of the watch, even though I've seen it under running water, but I wore it while doing dishes today & it was very handy for controlling my playlist.

Only issue is that enough water registers as a touch, so there was one time when I didn't shake my hand off enough & the water messed with the screen & skipped a track I was trying to swipe over to give the thumbs up.

Other than that, way better than having to deal with a song I would rather skip or dry my hands enough to change it on the phone.

I don't think twice about that. I even usually rinse the face and dry it when I wash my hands to clean off fingerprints.
Although this is really good at not leaving prints. Probable the best I've seen.

JK: how long did it take you to notice it had the plastic wrapping around every edge? Please say it was a few days so I don't feel like a complete idiot. :)

I don't wanna lie to you, but I don't want you to feel like an idiot...

Appreciate that. ;)
2 more things.
- Wife got me a bksck medal watch band. Looks cool. Can't wait to get it on.
- One thing I do not like is how to turn it on. Without the dock you have to use this tiny pinhole reset on the back. Very hard.
I've been doing a "battery test". See how long I could really push it. So I shut it off at night and don't dock it. So bad news: hard to turn on without dock. Good news: I'm on day 3 at 20% currently.
