Anyone have an LG G watch?

Appreciate that. ;)
2 more things.
- Wife got me a bksck medal watch band. Looks cool. Can't wait to get it on.
- One thing I do not like is how to turn it on. Without the dock you have to use this tiny pinhole reset on the back. Very hard.
I've been doing a "battery test". See how long I could really push it. So I shut it off at night and don't dock it. So bad news: hard to turn on without dock. Good news: I'm on day 3 at 20% currently.
I saw that about turning it on in one of the videos I watched while waiting for mine to be delivered.

Good to know it lasts that long if needed, & also to have the heads up about how difficult it is to turn back on without the dock.

I took mine off the dock around 26 hours ago & put it in theater mode, but not charging last night. Sitting at 43% battery.

Lots of good info in this thread! It's making me consider buying one. I really wanted a Moto 360, but it's outside of my price range right now. I am going to look at one later this week that I found on a local "yard sale / classified" website for less than the Verizon sale price. Claims to have been worn only once and they just don't like it. For the folks that do own one, I have a quick question. Is it comfortable to wear for a normal 8 - 9 hour workday, especially with long sleeve shirts? I was able to look at one at the Verizon store yesterday and try it on, but it's hard to tell how it will really feel with those cable locks attached to the band.

I tend to roll my sleeves up, but I wear mine comfortably through an entire work day & don't take it off when I get home like I did with my metal watch. I also rarely wore the metal watch on the weekend, but I'm wearing the G watch right now.

Cool, thanks for the quick reply. I have three watches now that I rotate through (two dressy metal watches and a G Shock for casual Fridays). If this LG looks as good in person as the pic they posted, I'll probably buy it. [emoji41]

As I said probably more than once in this thread, I don't regret having spent $100 on mine by any means, so if you can get an almost new one for less than that, you'll be in good shape.

Now, the $50 drone I just bought... Jury's still out on that little guy.

Wear mine all day too. Also don't wear long sleeves either, though.

I did wear sleeves on xmas eve. It did bother me a bit. I think that's due more to me "not being a watch guy" for 10 years then it is about this watch specifically.

Getting a metal band on it tomorrow. Always had metal watches in the past. I will report back.

I'm a fan. I liked the band that came with it but I think this looks better. Fits well. Much quicker to get on and off.

That actually looks a lot better than I thought it might. I was afraid a metal band would make the watch itself look more cheap, but this is stylish for sure.

Also, we're watchface buddies right now! Haha!

Does it affect charging or anything?
Good question! I wish I hadn't started looking at bands on Amazon, because I miss the cuff watches I used to wear, but I know those aren't worth the hassle it'd be to charge the thing.

Damn, that never even occurred to me, and in fact did not occur to me until you mentioned it. I even had to take it off and then it hit me.... ohhhhh. My dock is no longer sticky, since I've moved it so many times I don't foresee this being a problem. Had I known the bottom was sticky before I removed the plastic, I wouldn't have removed it.
Pro Tip: Don't stick your dock to your night stand. Not only in case you change bands, but for traveling, too.

The Fit app still annoys me. I cannot figure out how to kill it on the watch. Installed the Fit app on my phone. Told it "don't monitor anything". Still the watch wants to track steps. Uninstalled hoping that might yank it from the watch. Nope. The only reason it annoys me is because it uses battery. Come on... 4% since 8am! #HateYouFitApp

I am now the owner of a LG G watch also. Today will be my first full day with it, so will see how it goes. But I am liking it so far. Already sporting the Timeless Blue watch face mentioned in another thread. I can see why some folks might have been unimpressed with Android Wear early on. It took the watch and android wear app about 20 minutes to start downloading 5.0.1. The watch and Android Wear app were definitely kind of bland and minimalistic in version 4.4W. What a difference with 5.0.1W; they definitely added a lot of useful new features! Good job Google!
