Apple Going After Samsung Galaxy In US - Failed First Attempt

It was a google exec that said a november release. No it didn't come from big red but it was still stated in early november. There are a lot of rumors floating around but this one was started by a google rep.

Just to clarify, Verizon never gave a date. Since they haven't given a date, THEY haven't screwed anybody.

When did they do that? All they said was by the end of the year. What happened is that you got sucked into believing every tech site, forum fanatic and Twitter Twit that claimed to have a "scoop" on the date. I'd be interested in seeing a link to anything official from Verizon that stated a date. If you can provide that I'd be more than glad to admit that I am wrong.

To be honest, I could care less if you admit your wrong. The only point I was trying to make was that Google, on several occasions, continued to say the phone would be available in the US in November and that it is Verizon that has delayed it back to December. And I guess your right, hearing it directly from the Director of Android, Matias Duarte, that it was coming out in the US in November definitely shows how I got "sucked into the hype". If for no other reason, Verizon screwed up with not releasing the phone during the timespan the manufacturer intended for it to be released. See the video below if you haven't already.
