on my blackberry, you just turn on the camcorder and have the setting s changed to "flash always on" or something like that.

Ok, I had been making a list of programs I wanted to get or check out as well as home replacements to play around with. This is a copy/paste of my list, I'll try to change as many as I can to Androlib links if that is what is best.
Utilities / Tools / General Purpose Apps:

Where - Might not need this with the universal Google search. We'll see. Needed it on BB.
Astrid - Looks like a good To-Do List app.
Compare Everywhere or ShopSavvy - Barcode Readers
Locale - Changes your profile based on your gps location, could be useful.
Mobile Defense - Lost phone tracking.
WeatherBug - Might not need this with Beautiful Widgets below.
Taskiller or Advance Task Manager - To check/kill running apps.
Astro or Estrongs File Manager - File manager, app installer, file hider.
Password Vault - To replace the password keeper on my Storm.
Aldiko - For reading ebooks.
AppManager - Install apps from SD, backup apps to SD, etc.
Layar - Augmented Reality oooooo
Fun / Entertainment:

Google Sky Map - Just looks like it would be fun to have.
Speaking Pad - Type stuff out and have the app speak it.
InsultDroid - A "soundboard" of insults that you can set to go off on a timer lol.
Snap Photo Pro or Camera ZOOM FX - Lots of image manipulation stuff. Add text, effects, etc.
Photostitch - Lets you stitch together multiple photos to make a panoramic image.
TFLN - TextsFromLastNight reader.

FML Widget - Quick, funny updates from FMyLife.com (There are several APPs for this as well, I just like the widget idea)
Beautiful Widgets - Adds a few widgets including a very HTC-like clock/date/weather widget. I think it includes toggles too.

Streamfurious - Can play internet radio streams.
Pandora - Internet Radio
Ringdroid - Ringtone creater.

Awesome list. Nice to be able to see what others are using or thinking about and then compare to what I had in mind.
WordPlayer - Can download ebooks and read several formats of ebooks.
