apps on phone or sd card

Hey guys I'm still new to Droid. I was just wondering if the apps I download go on the phones memory or the micro SD card? And they use the phones memory can or how do I put them on the SD card?

they go on the phone, extras may go on the sd. As of now you have no choice in this. Eventually you'll be able to put your apps on the sd card, but as of now, they only go on your phones internal memory.

Just to clarify, downloads are on the SD card.

Installed apps, on the other hand, are in phone memory.
